I went to the heart specialist today and did the treadmill test and sure enough, as I suspected something is amiss. He doesn't know what it is exactly yet but my heart is accelerating like that if an 80 year old. He assured me that it isn't heart disease or anything really serious but it does need to be investigated further. I have the holter monitor on right now and there are sure a lot of wires! I think I have a sensitivity to the glue as well because the places they are placed feel hot.

I guess it is wrong of me, but I have not told my mom and dad about this because the last thing my mom needs is this stress. She is going for another round of chemo tomorrow (my birthday) so I don't want to cause her worry. I must say it is a little tough going through this without any support.

Happy Birthday Sweetheart!!
It's okay you don't tell your family until you know further. I would let your dad in on the secret though once you know. You need to widen your support system. You can't handle it all alone!!

Happy Birthday! I know it feels like you are alone, but know that you have a group of people out here that love you and are here for you! I know it isn't like having people close by you that can actually give you a great big hug, but know I'm just an email away! (((HUGS)))

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
There are many things that can control atrial fibrillation if that is what it is, or any other rhythm problem. It could be diet or a little pill. Don't stress out over it yet. Easy for me to say, huh? I get flutters alot but I wait for them to go away on their own.
Yeah, it can be awfully lonely going it alone.

Happy B day Barbara!!! I sure hope your Dr gets this figured out so you know what you're dealing with. Until then, try and enjoy your Birthday. Do something nice for yourself.

Good for you for getting in better shape! That's quite an accomplishment. I gotta say, though, did you shop around for that little tramp? $300.00??? I have one that cost about $50.00.
Maybe I shouldn't tell you that, but ouch!

You know it's funny....my heart tends to beat a little more "quickly" than normal as well....and I especially noticed it today at the gym...maybe I should investigate it further...especially since it's been "skipping" lately!

Happy Birthday, Barbara!

I do the same thing. Whenever something goes wrong with me health-wise (which happens more than I would like...), I never tell my parents until it's over and done. I figure they are old and don't need the stress, and I always seem to get better anyway. (shrug)

Hopeyou get this figured out soon.

happy belated birthday! i've had & have more health problems than a cat has kittens so i know how freaked out you can feel when being in limbo about something like this and it's not wrong to not tell your parents given what your mom's going through!
